Meteor Fireball Explodes Over Netherlands

A fireball meteor zipped across the Netherlands sky Tuesday evening before exploding in to the North Sea, an expert says.

The Netherlands just escaped a natural disaster from a meteor. Many Dutch people in the Netherlands witnessed a large “fireball” meteor in the sky. In the north people heard a bang and saw flashes. Also on Twitter people reported on the phenomenon.



The Groningen astronomical Theo Jurriens confirmed that this was a very bright meteor and at one point burst into three pieces.

About one hundred reports have been received from people who have seen the fireball. From the north of the Netherlands there are reports of people who heard rumblings when the meteor passed by and buildings were shaking.

Unfortunately, I haven't seen this meteor.

At the time it passed above our house I was bringing my youngest daughter to bed. I had already closed the curtains and I was reading a story to her from Laura's Star, as a nice 'coincidence'.

Laura's Star plot:
Laura is seven year old country girl, who's just moved along with her family to a big city. On her first night in her new neighborhood, she sees a shooting star falling to earth, she finds it in a park and discovers it is a living being, (that's severed one of its points during its crash landing). Taking it back home (to reattach its point with plasters), she and her younger brother Tommy discover the little star has special powers and can do amazing things like making people fly and bringing inanimate objects to life. But over time both notice that the longer the star stays on earth, the weaker it becomes (with its colour fading while its powers fail), with their next door neighbor Max they find a way to send the little star back into outer space.

There's something with this moon impact that needs further explanation.

I think you better read the previous posts again before you continue to read this posts, but of course you can do that later.

I have written about the Pi expression with the Deep Impact/Epoxi spacemission with this Moon - Earth transit as marker, the signifigance of this Moon -Earth transit, wich was in fact 'artificial' as it was caught on camera by the Deep Impact/ Epoxi spaceship.

'Tunguska' is the warning for these 2 mistakes, materialized 'in the past' of our limited 3D perception of time, beautifully expressed by the Golden Mean.

I had to think about this because the first one seems to imply that the Tunguska event has happened on an intelligently designed moment in our perception of time in order to mark these other 2 events ( nuclear bomb and deep impact on comet Temple I) by the Golden Mean Phi.

I consider this to be an 'incoming communication'.

However, the second one also seems to imply that 'Tunguska' has happened in order to mark the 2 lunar impacts and this has been bothering me.

If you look at it than you will notice that only the lunar Impact on October 9, 2009 has happened after the impact on comet Temple I.

Its either all intelligently Designed and predetermined or the lunar impact on October 9, 2009 has been deliberately planned in order to express the given intelligent correlation via the Golden mean Phi, as an outgoing communication.

Its like NASA saying 'oke we made a mistake with the Deep Impact on comet Temple I and we understand the 'intelligent inter-dimensional communication' that is taking place." With this 'useless' moon Impact on October 9, 2009 Nasa is ´confirming´ that the Tunguska warning has been understood.

Wit this in mind I started to investigate a bit more, if the timing of the Lunar Impact on October 9, 2009 has been consciously planned by NASA, than this first identified Intelligent correlation between Deep Impact on comet Temple 1 and this lunar impact must also have been manipulated in order to express this very same Golden Mean correlation.

Knowing that “what goes up into low Earth orbit … must eventually come down,” why had the NRO, the Pentagon and White House WAITED over a year … before they suddenly became “all hot and bothered” by the imminent reentry of USA-193, now projected for “sometime in late February/early March, 2008?”

And—

Why hadn’t anyone informed them of the “~1000 pounds of hydrazine on board” -- inevitably coming (uncontrollably!) back to Earth -- when they first lost their satellite control, back in 2006?!

Even with all this supporting technical detail, “something” about this entire "falling satellite story" just didn’t … ring right.

But, there is a reason for this ... a startling, ritual reason!

The series draws on elements of European and Asian mythology, most notably the cyclical nature of time found in Hinduism and Buddhism and the concepts of balance, duality and a respect for nature found in Daoism. It was also partly inspired by Leo Tolstoy's War and Peace.

Premise

At the dawn of time, a deity known as the Creator forged the universe and the Wheel of Time, which spins the lives of men and women as its threads. The Wheel has seven spokes, each representing an age, and it is rotated by the One Power, which flows from the True Source. The One Power is divided into male and female halves, saidin and saidar, which work in opposition and in unison to drive the Wheel. Over the next three and a half thousand years, the human race returns to a level of technology roughly comparable to that of the Medieval era (although cultural institutions and traditions seem closer to the 19th Century), with the difference that women enjoy full equality with men in most societies, and are superior in some. This is put down to the power and influence of the female-only Aes Sedai spilling over into everyday life. Several major wars have ravaged the main continent since the defeat of the Dark One, such as the Trolloc Wars, when the surviving servants of the Dark One tried to destroy civilization once more but were defeated by an alliance of nations led by the Aes Sedai; and the War of the Hundred Years, a devastating civil war that followed the fall of a continent-spanning empire ruled by the High King, Artur Hawkwing. These wars have prevented the human race from regaining the power and high technology of the Age of Legends, and also left humanity divided. Even the prestige of the Aes Sedai has fallen, with their shrinking numbers and the emergence of organizations such as the Children of the Light, a militant order who hold that all who dabble with the One Power are servants of the Shadow. The nations of the modern era are able to unite against the warrior-clans of the Aiel, who cross into the western kingdoms on a mission of vengeance after they suffered a grievous insult, but are too divided to work effectively together in other areas.

Plot summary

The prequel novel, New Spring, takes place during the Aiel War and chronicles the end of the conflict and the discovery by the Aes Sedai that one of the Prophecies of the Dragon has been fulfilled, that the Dragon has been Reborn. Aes Sedai agents are dispatched to try to find the newborn child before servants of the Shadow can do the same.

The series proper commences almost twenty years later in the Two Rivers, a near-forgotten backwater district of the kingdom of Andor. An Aes Sedai, Moiraine, and her Warder Lan, arrive in the village of Emond's Field with news that servants of the Dark One are searching for one particular young man living in the area. Moiraine is unable to determine which of three men (Rand al'Thor, Mat Cauthon or Perrin Aybara) is the Dragon Reborn, so she takes all three of them out of the Two Rivers, along with their friend Egwene al'Vere. Nynaeve al'Meara, the village Wisdom, later meets up with them at the town of Baerlon. The men are mystified why Moiraine has allowed Egwene and Nynaeve to travel with them, but it is later revealed that both of them can channel the One Power and learn to be Aes Sedai. A mysterious old gleeman named Thom Merrilin also travels with the group, claiming he wants to travel in safety when leaving the Two Rivers. The first novel depicts their flight from various agents of the Shadow and their attempts to escape to the Aes Sedai city of Tar Valon.

From then on, the story expands and the original characters are frequently split into different groups and pursue different missions or agendas aimed at furthering the cause of the Dragon Reborn, sometimes thousands of miles apart. The original group of characters from the Two Rivers make new allies, gain experience and become figures of some influence and authority. As they struggle to unite the western kingdoms against the Dark One's forces, their task is complicated by rulers of the nations who refuse to give up their authority and by factions such as the Children of the Light, who do not believe in the prophecies, and the Seanchan, the descendants of a long-lost colony of Artur Hawkwing's empire across the western ocean -Hawkwing had once united the mainland continent under his rule, and sent his son across the ocean to unite those lands as well- who have returned, believing it is their destiny to conquer the world. The Aes Sedai also become divided between those who believe the Dragon Reborn should be strictly controlled, and those who believe he must freely lead them into battle as he did in the earlier war. As the story expands, new characters representing different factions are introduced: although this expansion of the narrative allows the sheer scale of the growing struggle to be effectively depicted, it has been criticized for slowing the pace of the novels and sometimes reducing the appearances of the original cast to extended cameos.

By the eleventh novel, it has become clear that the Last Battle, caused when the Dark One is able to exert its influence directly on the world once more, is imminent. According to the author finishing the final volume, Brandon Sanderson, the Last Battle will be depicted in a three volume series that was originally conceived as a final novel.

You mean, they know there's some kind of communication going on? That they are doing all on purpose to show they are "hearing"?

So it seems yes

The only other explanation I can imagine is that the hidden underlying Design 'required' a related expression of the underlying themes at hand, at these specific moments of our perceptoion of time. In that case NASA was 'subconsciously' meeting these specific timeframes, giving sub-consciously expression to this Tunguska warning ( and in a sense reflecting the state of our collective consciousness ).

(CNN) -- Three runners died Sunday during the Detroit Free Press/Flagstar Marathon in Detroit, Michigan, police told CNN

A man in his 60s fell and hit his head, Roach said. The cause of the fall was unknown. The man was transported to Detroit Receiving Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

All three collapsed near the end of the race, he said.

Ties between China and Taiwan have improved significantly since the China-friendly politician Ma Ying-jeou became the island's president last year, vowing to adopt a non-confrontational policy towards the mainland.

But despite the less-tense relationship, Taiwan continues to express concern over China's military might, and especially its missiles.

"If necessary, they can be used to strike Taiwan in waves of precision missile attacks," it said.

China's air force also has more than 700 fighters based within 1,000 kilometres (600 miles) of Taiwan, according to the report.

It said some of the fighters have been equipped with airborne refueling facilities which can be used to extend their combat duration while attacking the island.

China's navy has been boosted after it put into service new nuclear-powered attack submarines and major combat vehicles armed with medium-range ballistic missiles capable of striking movable targets at sea.

"The purpose is to deter or delay foreign carriers coming to the rescue of Taiwan should war break out in the Strait," it said.

While the report did not identify this "foreign force," the only nation likely to send carriers to Taiwan in a war scenario is the United States.

China lobbed ballistic missiles into waters off Taiwan's two major ports in 1996 in war games aimed to intimidate Lee Teng-hui, then the island's president, to stop him seeking re-election.

The crisis ended only after the United States sent two battle carrier groups to waters near Taiwan in apparent warnings to Beijing against its any attempt to invade the island.

Backed up by its dynamic economic growth, China has been able to boost its military spending by double digits for 21 years in a row, according to the report.

"Its military strength has gone beyond its self-defence needs and sparked serious concerns from countries in the Asia-Pacific region," the report said.

China's military budget for 2009 came in at 480.7 billion yuan (70.4 billion US dollars), a rise of 14.9 percent from the previous year, the report said, citing official figures from Beijing.

China still regards Taiwan part of its territory awaiting reunification -- by force if necessary -- although the island has governed itself since it split from the mainland in 1949 at the end of a civil war.

Jackson 'wanted the world on stage'

Kenny Ortega - the choreographer of Michael Jackson's ill-fated shows at London's O2 arena - is chuckling at the memory of one of the singer's big stage ideas.

"One morning Michael called me and said: 'Victoria Falls!' and I said: 'That's in Africa'.

"And he said: 'That's why we have to have it!'"

Ortega, a long-time friend of Jackson, is director of the film This Is It which is released on 28 October.

The movie is based on more than 100 hours of footage from rehearsals for the 50 London shows Jackson had planned to perform. Jackson died in June aged 50.

"Daily, Michael and I would be creative jousting and wrestling down ideas," recalls Ortega.

"I think Michael wanted the world on stage, and he wanted the wonders of the world represented on stage.

"We had choirs and children and dancers and singers and musicians and effects and movies and the world's largest 3-D hi-definition screen.

"What Michael wanted was the Victoria Falls in 3-D pouring over the stage - with him in front of it, singing!"

Energetic sequence

Ortega is speaking after a press screening of 12 minutes of unseen footage from the This Is It movie.

Jackson is seen working out dance moves to Human Nature, with his backing band in Los Angeles.

The star is also seen performing The Way You Make Me Feel with a solo girl dancer, followed by an energetic sequence with some male dancers dressed as construction workers.

At one point Jackson drops to the ground in a press-up pose and leaps back up. He appears to be in good health, and his singing voice is strong.

The building site set - with its silhouetted dancers scaling upwards - looks impressive on the big screen.

'Intimate' show

Ortega thinks the film will have an appeal wider than Jackson's fanbase.

"I think it goes way beyond the fans," he says. "You see a show being built with Michael as the main architect.

"I loved watching the young dancers on stage with Michael: seeing the sparkle in their eyes and the excitement in their bodies - that they were on the stage with the very man that inspired them to want to be dancers."

Ortega adds: "The show was massive, but it was also intimate. With just Michael alone on the stage, with the light, with the band, and audience. We really worked out a plan so that those dynamics were in harmony."

'Healing process'

Travis Payne, a choreographer who worked alongside Ortega on This Is It, gives an insight into Jackson's workload during the rehearsals.

"Each of our days would start with me going to his residence. We would rehearse at 2pm every day until about 3.30pm or 4.30pm - and then we would reconvene at the venue and usually go from 6pm to midnight.

"It was pretty full-on, and then sometimes during the night we'd speak about the creative parts of the show."

Payne, who has also choreographed for Madonna and Beyonce, says he hopes the movie will be part of the "healing process" for Jackson's fans.

Feds: Boston terror suspect planned to kill officials, attack mall


BOSTON, Massachusetts (CNN) -- A Massachusetts man was charged Wednesday with one count of conspiring to provide material support to terrorists abroad, the acting U.S. attorney for Massachusetts said Wednesday.


Tarek Mehanna, 27, of Sudbury, Massachusetts, traveled overseas, sought training from the Taliban, wanted to kill U.S. soldiers in Iraq and hoped to kill one or two members of the executive branch of the U.S. government, said Michael K. Loucks, the acting U.S. attorney for Massachusetts.

Loucks did not name those potentially threatened but said they never were in danger.

The suspect and his co-conspirators also had discussed an attack on at least one U.S. shopping mall, Loucks said. However, that idea stalled and is not included in the conspiracy charge, said Christina DiIorio-Sterling, a spokeswoman in the U.S. attorney's office.

Mehanna and the others were unable to get automatic weapons to carry out the mall attack, Loucks said.

The complaint affidavit alleges that Mehanna and co-conspirators sought to participate in "violent jihad against American interests and ... would talk about fighting jihad and their desire to die on the battlefield."

"The complaint further alleges that the co-conspirators attempted to radicalize others and inspire each other by, among other things, watching and distributing jihadi videos."


The videos Mehanna obtained and watched included shots of U.S. soldiers killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq, Loucks said. There also were videos showing the mutilation of the bodies of U.S. service members who had been killed in Iraq, he added.

Mehanna was arrested a year ago after being accused of lying to FBI agents in a terror investigation, but the latest charges are more serious, Loucks said.

Mehanna and co-conspirators planned trips overseas in an effort to join training camps and kill American soldiers, Loucks said. He and others traveled to Pakistan, Iraq, Syria and Yemen and sought training from groups including the Taliban, he said.

A federal complaint alleges that the conspiracy began in or about 2001 and lasted until about May 2008.

During that time, according to a statement from the U.S. Department of Justice, Mehanna conspired with others to provide material support and resources to carry out "a conspiracy to kill, kidnap, maim, or injure persons or damage property in a foreign country, and extraterritorial homicide of a U.S. national."

One of their plans was to attack at least one U.S. shopping mall in a random shooting spree, but that did not happen because they couldn't get the assault weapons they wanted, Loucks said. He didn't name the mall.

Loucks said the logistics involved assaulting multiple entrances of the mall. They had determined the steps they would take when first responders arrived.

If convicted on the material support charge, Mehanna will face up to 15 years of imprisonment, to be followed by three years of supervised release, and a $250,000 fine.


"I think we're satisfied that we know every member of this group," the attorney said. "We do not believe that there are any terrorist cells in this area." He said a like-minded colleague had fled the United States.

Mehanna was arrested in November as he was about to board a flight at Logan International Airport in Boston, Loucks said.

ESA's Rosetta comet chaser will swing by Earth on 13 November to pick up orbital energy and begin the final leg of its 10-year journey to the outer Solar System.
Several observations of the Earth-Moon system are planned before the spacecraft heads out to study comet 67/P Churyumov-Gerasimenko.
This will be the third Earth swingby, the last of Rosetta's four planetary gravity assists. Closest approach to Earth is expected at 08:45 CET. The swingby will provide exactly the boost Rosetta needs to continue into the outer Solar System. The craft is scheduled for a close encounter with asteroid 21 Lutetia in July next year.

Rosetta is expected to arrive at its final destination in May 2014. There, it will release the Philae lander for in-situ studies on the surface. The spacecraft will then escort the comet on its journey toward the Sun, studying it closely for up to two years.

As it closes in on Earth next month, Rosetta will have travelled almost 4500 million km since launch. It will speed past Earth at 13.3 km/s, passing above the Indian Ocean at 109 degrees E, 8 degrees S, just south of the Indonesian island of Java. The gravity-assist will increase the spacecraft's speed by 3.6 km/s with respect to the Sun.

Instruments in action
While the swingby is critical for achieving the velocity required to reach its ultimate destination, the close encounter will also be used to study the Earth-Moon system from Rosetta's unique perspective.

Several instruments that usually hibernate during the long trek will be turned on in the week before the swingby.

US-Israel drill simulates missile attacks from Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Gaza


The US and Israel launched Operation Juniper Cobra 10, the biggest missile defense exercise of their regular biennial drills, on Wednesday Oct. 21. Taking part in the two-week drill are 1,000 military personnel on each side. According to US military sources, the exercise which simulates the advanced capabilities of shared air defense systems, sends a message to Tehran that America will support Israel's defenses in attacks from Iran or its allies in the region.

The great importance Washington attaches to the drill is underscored by the appointment of US Sixth Fleet chief Adm. Mark Fitzgerald as joint commander, especially as it takes place weeks after President Barack Obama scrapped US plans to deploy missile interception systems in Poland and the Czech Republic. They are to be replaced with a missile shield tailored to handle short- and medium-range missiles, which constitute the bulk of Iran's arsenal and are carried in the first stage by warships.

The American Navy's AEGIS Ballistic Missile Defense systems and advanced radar are taking part in Juniper Cobra aboard a fleet of 17 US warships docked in Israel's naval ports for the exercise. American and Israeli radar stations are strung along the Israeli coast to spot dummy missiles launched from sea to test their intercept performance.

On Sept. 16, American Galaxy transports airlifted in batteries of Patriot and THAAD anti-missile systems and military vehicles for the exercise. Israel's Arrow 2 Theater Ballistic Missile Defense System and Patriot anti-missile missiles are also taking part in the drill.

A senior Israel officer said Tuesday night that the ability of X-band radar technology to detect incoming missiles at a distance of hundreds of kilometers will have its first test. X-band radar was installed last year in a US military compound at the Israeli Air Force Nevatim base in the Negev.

Until the drill ends on Nov. 3, roads running south will be closed at intervals as hardware is moved around in accordance with simulated enemy missile attacks.
